Recently, the installation of a biomass-fired hot air furnace supplied by Zhejiang Meibao Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. officially commenced at a detergent powder manufacturing plant in Africa. The furnace will serve as an important heat source for the customer’s detergent powder production line, providing stable and efficient hot air for the production process.

Developed independently by Meibao, this biomass-fired hot air furnace has been granted a Chinese national invention patent. The technology has already been successfully applied by more than 100 well-known manufacturers in the daily chemical industry, delivering reliable operating performance and significant economic benefits.

Compared with conventional oil-fired and gas-fired hot air furnaces, the biomass-fired system uses renewable biomass fuels such as wood chips, sawdust, biomass pellets and agricultural residues. It can effectively reduce dependence on fossil fuels while helping manufacturers lower fuel costs, improve energy efficiency and optimize their overall energy consumption structure.

The furnace is designed to provide stable heat output and reliable temperature control according to the operating requirements of detergent powder production. Its combustion and heat supply systems can be customized based on the customer’s production capacity, available fuel types and local operating conditions, ensuring effective integration with the complete production line.

The solution is particularly valuable in regions where oil and natural gas supplies are limited, unstable or relatively expensive. By making use of locally available biomass resources, manufacturers can maintain continuous production, reduce the impact of fuel supply fluctuations and improve the operational resilience of their factories.
